JHS Drama is presenting two one-act plays, "Tracks" by Peter Tarsi and a JHS original play, "On the Way," at 7 p.m. Friday, May 29, in the JHS Theater.
Both of these plays deal with the choices and paths of various characters. Working on two short plays has given students a lot of opportunities to play diverse parts, said Director Tony McIntyre. "Tracks" is a drama where all of the characters have to reconcile the lives they've lived. "On the Way" is a comedy dealing with characters trying to change the direction they're headed.
The productions include 17 actors and five crew members in scenic and costume design."Tracks" will also be performed at the NDHSAA Class A One Act Play Competition at North Dakota State University on April 1-2.
Tickets for the one acts are available at the door and are $4 for students and $6 for adults.
