Neal McCoy will perform in concert on Friday, Sept. 13, at the Jamestown Civic Center. Also performing is comedian Joe Stoddard.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The show will be just over 2 hours, said promoter Larry Furstenberg.
Tickets are $38 general admission and will be available at the door on the day of the event. They are also available now at Fred’s Den, Cork & Barrel and the Civic Center.
The concert is sponsored by the Jamestown Masonic Lodge.
According to McCoy’s website, he has released 15 studio albums and 34 singles to country radio. In 1993, McCoy broke through with the back-to-back No. 1 singles “No Doubt About It” and “Wink’ from his platinum-certified album No Doubt About It. His commercial success continued into the late 1990s with two more platinum albums and a gold album, as well as six more Top 10 hits. A seventh Top 10 hit, the number 10 “Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On,” came in 2005 from his self-released That’s Life.
McCoy has been on 15 USO Tours and is the recipient of multiple humanitarian awards from The Academy of Country Music, The Country Radio Broadcasters and The Masonic Grand Lodge.
Joe Stoddard has performed for more than 20 years at venues, including working with the Beach Boys, Ricky Nelson, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Rich Little and performing with Loretta Lynn, Pat Boone, Jim Gafford, Mickey Gilley, Jan & Dean and others, according to his website.
