A 54-year-old Wing, N.D., man was identified Tuesday, July 9, after a head-on collision on Burleigh County Highway 10 the night before, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 12:04 a.m. about three miles east of Bismarck, when Deon Prinsloo's 2007 Suzuki G60 motorcycle traveling eastbound entered the westbound lane, striking a 1998 Toyota Tacoma. The man was pronounced dead at the scene after being thrown from his motorcycle, the patrol said.
Heather Harper, the 52-year-old Bismarck woman driving the Tacoma, was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet, according to the patrol.
The crash remains under investigation.
