Meeting held by Tele-conference originated by Stutsman County Tax Assessor
In attendance, Tyler Perleberg, Tax Assessor for Stutsman County, Michael Schlecht, Neal Klein, Roger Krapp, Chip Steckler, and Auditor Krapp. Guests David Cysewski and Bob Martin and Dustin Krueger arriving mid meeting
Schlecht moved to approve 2020 Tax Equalization minutes, 2nd by Krapp MC
2020 Building permits and destruction permits were sent in by Auditor to Stutsman County, this helps keeps records current for the City of Spiritwood Lake.
There was some new construction or additions; Rick Albrecht, Jerry Steckler, Dave Falk, Neil & Vicki Klein, Bob Martin. Destruction of cabin Allan Allmaras, Lynn and Mary Greshik, Final appraisal done on Jason Hildenbrand, Kurt Schmeichel still in process.
Values have increased 1.5 to 2 % over all, properties around the lake will be reappraised in 3-4 years.
Discussed values of Spiritwood Lake versus Jamestown Reservoir Bureau Land that is being sold, they are being treated at this time as bare lots.
Discussed Homestead Credit info and qualifications for them.
Steckler moved to approve tax exemptions for Camp Rokiwan, 2nd by Schlecht. MC
Steckler motioned to approve Homestead Credit for Leah Schock, and Clarence and Shirley Netzer, 2nd by Klein, MC
Steckler moved to approve 2021 Tax Equalization vote as presented, 2nd by Schlecht, MC
Krapp motioned to adjourn tax equalization meeting at 7:26 PM, 2nd by Klein. MC
