ANALYSIS OF THE MEDINA AMBULANCE DISTRICT MEASURE APPEARING ON THE GENERAL ELECTION BALLOT NOVEMBER 3, 2020
The following analysis is for the measure appearing on the Medina Ambulance District General Election Ballot on November 3, 2020. This publication is required by Section 16.1-01-07 of the North Dakota Century Code to enable voters to become familiar with the effect of proposed measures. Pursuant to NDCC 11-28.3-03, residents of the proposed rural ambulance service district known as Medina Ambulance District will be voting on whether Medina Ambulance District shall levy a tax not to exceed 10 mills for the purpose of forming a rural ambulance district. The proposed district is 570 square miles and includes the following:
•Cities of Medina, Woodworth and Cleveland in Stutsman County, ND
•Townships of Bloomenfield, Chase Lake, Chicago, Flint, Iosco, Marstonmoor, Newbury, Peterson, St. Paul, Stirton, Strong, Valley Springs, and Weld in Stutsman County, ND
•Portions of the following townships located within Stutsman County, ND:
•Sections 19-36 of Gerber
•Sections 5-8, 17-20 and 29-32 of Moon Lake
•Sections 2-11, 14-23 and 26-35 of Paris
•Sections 19-22 and 27-34 of Roosevelt
•Sections 19-36 of Wadsworth
•Sections 5-8, 17-20 and 29-32 of Windsor
