Applicants sought for School Board The Jamestown Public School Board is accepting nominations to fill an unexpired term. Applications will be accepted at the district’s Central Office at 207 2nd Ave SE, until Monday, March 3, 2023, 4:00 p.m. The school board will appoint a person to serve the unexpired term for Roger Haut until June of 2024. The appointment is for a city position. Eligible candidates must be 18 years of age, a city resident of Jamestown Public School District and be able to attend the new member training conducted by the North Dakota School Boards Association in Bismarck on October 26 & 27, 2023. Persons interested in the position should complete a Statement of Intent, a Statement of Interest form and a Biographical Information Sheet, which is available on-line at www.jamestown.k12.nd.us or can be picked up at the Central Office.
