Projects that were done he was able to use some money from other funding so we could leave for SE Outlet. Last Water quality samples done October 21, 2022. Dustin and Klein did a water sample for Geese, A project was set up with the help of Game and Fish and NDDEQ with samples being sent in. Council discussed taking samples deeper, not just surface samples. Dustin did a presentation at the ND Environmental Health Association convention is Minot on October 29th, presenting the history of Spiritwood Lake, why and how we applied for 319 Grant and give information on Phase I and Phase II and talk about the Hypolimnetic draw down. SE Outlet Update-Auditor and Mayor attended Stutsman Water Board meeting where the clarification for the Hypolimnetic draw down was discussed, the levels that we would have to use for our operating plan. Stutsman County Water Board has sent a letter to the State Engineer and the City, regarding these levels. Steckler motioned to revise operating plan to match what is required by Stutsman County Water Board for levels, 2nd by Schlecht. Auditor will work on updating Operating plan with Dustin and others and also start applying for the 404 permits from Army Corp of Engineer. We are still waiting for the final approval from the State Engineer. RCPP final report is being submitted by Dustin and Daren on Nov 2, 2022. Road grading was done, maybe once more if get moisture. Tree trimming has been started, will do more this year if weather allows. Pure Hockey Skills presented permit for 1 day Poker Tournament Dec 17, 2022 at Spirit Inn Resort. Klein motioned to approve with fee waived, 2nd by Steckler, MC Auditor researched Council compensation for other similar size populations, Krapp motion to increase base rate from $350 to $500, and rate per meeting from $40 to $50.00, 2nd by Klein, MC Auditor will allow CDs to renew automatically when come due.
