Meeting called to order by Mayor Wick with John Buskness absent. All other members present. The minutes and treasurer’s report were given and accepted as read. The non-interest-bearing checking account has been completed. Sharon Snyder will need a key to the dump ground this spring. Darren Martin or Becca Kurig will follow up on this. Daven Dockter representing the elevator presented a proposition for the elevator to use the old fire hall for storing their equipment in the winter. Discussion followed with the mayor asking that there be approval made by the whole elevator board rather than just the president of the board. This has been tabled until April. Darren Martin told the board that the fire department will now start paying for the use of city water. New fire chief is Steven Scarbrough Bill Clark handed in his resignation with a final date of May 31st. The mayor has initiated paperwork for a low interest loan for the water improvements. With prior approvement, the mayor will purchase a new laptop for the city. The board discussed a tree grant that the mayor has been pursuing. Cost is 50/50. The city should replace trees in the park and there needs to be more trees by the ball diamonds. Our cost can be reduced by the number of hours and people that work on this project. Further business will follow on this project this summer. The bills were presented and motioned for approval by Becca Kurig and seconded by Sharon Snyder. Candyce Wick adjourned the meeting.
