Facility Description
A permit is issued under the North Dakota Pollution Discharge Elimination System program for the discharge of treated wastewater from the Great River Energy - Spiritwood Power Station to Jamestown's Publicly Owned Treatment Works. This discharge is a new source subject to 40 CFR part 423.17, 40 CFR 403(except 40 CFR 403.7), and state and local regulations as applicable.
Tentative Determinations
Proposed effluent limitations and other permit conditions have been made by the Department. They assure that State Water Quality Standards and applicable provisions of the FWPCAA will be protected.

All comments received by June 11, 2021 will be considered prior to finalizing the permit. If there is significant interest, a public hearing will be scheduled.
