NOTICE OF BIDS The Jamestown Regional Airport Authority (JRAA) will be hosting a live bid for a hay land lease for one three-year term with two three-year renewals for the rights to harvest the following: Hay Land Lease of approximately 250.69 acres more or less located on two separate parcels. The hay land is on JRAA property. Interested parties may obtain bid instructions, Lease Agreement, map of the hay land area, or review the hay land by inquiring at the Airport Director’s office. The JRAA reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to award a lease agreement it deems to be in the best interest of the JRAA. The live bid auction will be held on Monday May 15, 2023 at 3:00 PM, at the Office of the Airport Director. Bidder’s may participate in the bid electronically. Please review Instructions further information. The starting bid will be $60.00 per acre which will also be the minimum bid. There will be no minimum bidding increases, except that they must be in whole dollar amounts (i.e. $1.00 increases are acceptable, $0.25 increases are not). Anyone wishing to take a break may request one for any reason (i.e. restroom break or to call a financial advisor). Successful bidder will be required to execute a hay land lease agreement on or before May 17th at 6pm and provide a $1,000.00 downpayment. The successful bidder will be responsible for primary noxious weed control. Satisfactory weed control shall mean not letting weeds reach the blooming stage, either through the use of chemicals or mowing. By order of the Board of the Jamestown Regional Airport Authority.
