The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm with all members present. The minutes and treasurer’s report were presented and accepted as read. Old business: If Strom Sanitation cannot pick up the trash on his normal day of Thursday, please refer to the Woodworth Facebook page for further details. The laptop for the next auditor wa purchased. Terry Hesch is the new hire for the water/sewer departments. He will begin on May 1st. There is no new hire for the auditor’s position and the board is still looking. There is a grant for the lead compliance laws and regulations from the EPA, all lead lines in Woodworth will have to be identified this year. John Buskness made a motion and Rebecca Kuruc seconded that the city applies for this grant. Motion carried. Bills were read and motioned for approval by John Buskness and seconded by Sharon Snyder to pay all bills. Candyce adjourned the meeting at 6:35pm The tax equalization meeting was held at 5:58 on Wednesday, April 11, 2023. All members were present as was Jeremy from the county as was a local resident questioning her taxes have gone up so much. There were 3 new improvements made in Woodworth in the last year. Rebecca made a motion to accept the findings as presented and Darren Martin seconded. Motion carried. Darren made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Rebecca seconded. Motion carried and this meeting was adjourned. At the end of the previous meeting the board started a budget meeting. Figures were gone through; the auditor will compile them and present them to the board at the May meeting for approval.
