The discharge elevations were updated to match what the Water board approved. Auditor sent to ND Department of Water Resources and is waiting for reply. Auditor attended Stutsman County Commission meeting on March 21st and requested easement for to construct Hypolimnetic Drawdown project in SE Outlet and allow operation of the project on Stutsman County owned land. This was approved and will be recorded at the Court house. BJ Kratz, G&F, has been working on plan design and getting contractor for installation. Discussion held regarding pipe size, placement of pipe in Lake and location of the outlet structure. We will be staying away from the Fish Wier and the channel. Placement planned to be on South side of Road to the West of Fish Weir. We are contacting the DEQ to get the water quality standard requirement for sampling and the location that Water Samples will have to be taken at. Discussion held as to monies available for this project. We want to do this project correctly as it is going to be long term and need to make sure we are getting the best results we can to help with water quality of Spiritwood Lake. Walking Path Update-no report Sandy Beach slab removal-working on plan-discussed depth of slab and possible removal tactics-Auditor will need to place ad for bid. Waste Management payments not paid - 3 Full time, 9 seasonal. Rates for Central Dakota Sanitation will be increasing to $1290.00 monthly. Auditor will notify CDS to get service started on May 1 for sites closed over winter. New Business: Auditor presented KC’s gaming permit for Spiritwood Resort, for July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 Steckler moved to approve 2nd by Klein, MC Auditor received notice from Unison Bank that we will have to sign agreement to make sure accounts stay FDIC insured, Schlecht made motion to allow Shirly Krapp to sign agreement 2nd by Steckler. Steckler moved to adjourn at 9:10 PM, 2nd by Schlecht. Next regular council meeting will be Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 7:30 PM at Steckler Shop 617 Spiritwood Avenue.
