JE Dunn, as Construction Manager at Risk, is taking bids on May 7, 2020 until 2:00 pm CST. No bids will be accepted after 2:00 pm.
The scopes of work for which we are accepting bids are for Bid Package 1:
SURVEYING, CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL TESTING, TEMPORARY FENCING, BUILDING CONCRETE, PRECAST CONCRETE, STRUCTURAL STEEL SUPPLY, STRUCTURAL STEEL INSTALLATION, GLUE-LAMINATED CONSTRUCTION, DAMPROOFING & WATERPROOFING, ELEVATORS, FIREPROTECTION (DESIGN ASSIST), MECHANICAL (DESIGN ASSIST), ELECTRICAL (DESIGN ASSIST), MASS EXCAVATION & BACKFILL, STRUCTURAL EXCAVATION, PILE FOUNDATIONS, SITE UTILITIES.
Plans are available online at SmartBidNet and at the following plan rooms: Minneapolis, St. Cloud, Fargo, Grand Forks, Minot, Bismarck, Rochester, Dickinson, Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Missoula, and Rapid City.
There will be a pre-bid walk through at the site on April 30th at 1:00 PM in the student center Skoal room.
Bids must be submitted by one of the following methods:
1. Mailed to the JE Dunn Dickinson office 766 Elks Dr, Suite B, Dickinson ND 58601. Bids that are mailed must be received a day in advance on May 6th, 2020.
2. Hand delivered to VCSU Student Center 230 Viking Dr, Valley City, ND 58072 Skoal Conference Room.
All bidders must be licensed for the full amount of the bid per sections. If not, the bid will be rejected and the contract awarded to the next lowest responsible bidder.
The Bid Proposal Form and Scope of Work should be filled out correctly.
After all bids are opened and read out loud, JE Dunn shall then evaluate the bids and at a later date determine which is the most responsible.
The Governing body reserves the right to reject any and all bids based on past experiences with a subcontractor or a current legal dispute with a subcontractor, and/or rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received.
