11 new coronavirus cases, 1 death reported in Stutsman County

The North Dakota Department of Health reported 11 new positive tests and one death Wednesday due to the coronavirus in Stutsman County. There were 487 tests processed for a daily positivity rate of 2.3%.

The death was a man in his 80s with underlying health conditions.

Across North Dakota, there were 516 positive tests from 6,493 tests processed for a daily positivity rate of 8.4%.

There are currently 152 people hospitalized due to COVID-19 with 23 in intensive care units.

There were 10 deaths reported in the state Wednesday, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 422 people. Deaths outside of Stutsman County included a woman and a man in their 70s in Burleigh County, a woman in her 80s in Emmons County, a man in his 60s in Kidder County, a woman in her 60s and a man in his 70s from McLean County, a man in his 80s from Oliver County and a man in his 70s and a woman in her 90s from Ward County. All had underlying health conditions.

New cases in the Jamestown region include Foster County, nine; McIntosh County, eight; Eddy and Logan counties, five each; Wells County, four; Dickey and LaMoure counties, two each; and Barnes, Griggs, one each.
