The North Dakota Department of Health reported seven new cases of coronavirus in Stutsman County Monday. The new positives were a result of 81 tests processed for a 9.5% daily positivity rate. The deaths of two women in their 90s in Stutsman County were also reported.
Reports from area counties included seven positive tests in Wells County, six in Barnes County, five each in Dickey and Kidder counties, four in Foster County, three in McIntosh County and two in LaMoure County.
Across North Dakota, there were 975 positive tests reported Monday with Cass County reporting 231 positive tests.
There are currently 215 people hospitalized in North Dakota due to COVID-19 with 27 of them in intensive care units.
There were nine deaths reported across North Dakota. Along with the two in Stutsman County, the deaths were also reported in a man in his 70s from Burleigh County, a man in his 80s and a man in his 90s from Dickey County, a man in his 50s from Dunn County, a man in his 70s from McLean County, a man in his 90s from Morton County and a woman in her 80s from Sargent County.

The death toll from COVID-19 in North Dakota has reached 540 people since the start of the pandemic in March.
