The Two Rivers Chamber Choir and Orchestra will close its season with a concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 30, at Vorhees Chapel on the campus of the University of Jamestown.
Mark Reeves, founder and director of Two Rivers Performing Arts School, said the concert is being presented in partnership with the UJ Concert Choir, under the direction of Aaron McDermid, UJ director of choral activities.
Reeves said the choirs and orchestra will perform John Rutter’s “Requiem,” Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Missa Brevis” in C and other works. The concert will feature about 80 singers and a 24-piece orchestra. Reeves said he and McDermid have been working together to bring larger choral and orchestral works to Jamestown. The concert is free.
