Financial class offered at Trinity

The event, Live Life Financially Free, is being offered free on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jamestown. The event, which is free to the Jamestown community, will also offer free hcild care.

From making a budget that works for you to cutting costs for your family and paying off debt, this event will equip people with the tools to live life financially free.

Annika Caldwell understands firsthand the importance of getting a plan in place for your finances. She and her husband spent the first 26 months of their marriage paying off $97,000 of debt. At the ages of 23 and 25, they paid their final student loan payment and were debt free. Since starting their journey, Annika Caldwell has been working in different capacities to help others achieve the same financial freedom in their own lives. From helping families and individuals meet a “break even” financial point every month to guiding people as they budget their retirements, Caldwell meets people at any financial point and walks with them providing them with the resources to accomplish their goals.

Caldwell is especially passionate about educating people about budgeting, cutting costs, college planning and avoiding consumer debt. Age and income status don't matter here. Everyone needs the tools to take control of their own finances and achieve financial freedom.

Each participant will be provided with a zero-based budgeting template, resources for paying off debt and cutting costs, and the opportunity to win two prizes including the book “Twenty Three and Debt Free” and a Financial Peace University lifetime membership.

Free child care will be provided by Stepping Stones. If using the free child care, send an email to annika@23anddebtfree.com with the first name and age of each of your children.
