He also played semi-pro football for about two years for the Bellingham Bulldogs while mentoring and coaching middle and high school athletes in the sport.

Hirsch is an avid musician and songwriter and said he loves using music to connect people to God.

Hirsch will be installed Sunday, Sept. 22, during the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Victory Lutheran is located at 510 9th Ave. SW. The church office may be reached by calling 251-1570. Everyone is welcome.
