The Rev. Tom Stamman and his wife, Teresa, will be guest speakers at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at New Life Church in Jamestown.

Since 1986, the Stammans, who are involved with Impact Ministries International, have been traveling throughout the U.S. and to other countries to bring God’s message to people of all denominations, ages and backgrounds.

The Rev. Tom Stamman is president of Impact Ministries International. He has written eight books and traveled to 41 countries.

Dr. Teresa Stamman is vice president of Impact Ministries International. She grew up in Peru, moved to Poland then the U.S. and became a medical doctor. She lives in Honduras most of the time and runs the City of Refuge located near Comayagua. She oversees IMI's orphanage, which includes a school, medical clinic, restaurant, 278-acre farm, construction crews and more than 90 employees. She also pastors at the church at the orphanage, which has 69 children, and oversees the IMI retreat center in West Union, Iowa.

IMI has ordained more than 775 ministers. Its more than 350 active ministers include pastors of churches in 22 states and 10 countries. IMI also feeds many children throughout the world and has five orphanages with 200 orphans in Honduras, India and Liberia. It educates 500 children in its Christian schools.
