The North Dakota Department of Health reported three new positive tests for the coronavirus in Stutsman County Tuesday. There have been 17 positive tests reported since Wednesday, July 29, in Stutsman County and 121 since the start of the pandemic in March.
In the region, one positive test was reported in each of Barnes, Dickey, Emmons, LaMoure and McIntosh counties and two cases in Sargent County.
There were 149 positive tests reported in all of North Dakota Tuesday bringing the state total to 6,933 since the start of the pandemic. There are currently 51 people hospitalized in North Dakota due to COVID-19.
Two deaths were reported in North Dakota Tuesday. A man in his 60s from Griggs County and a woman in her 70s from Sioux County, both with underlying health conditions, died. Those deaths bring the total number of deaths in North Dakota since the start of the pandemic to 107.
