Miranda McPherson and Levi Hanson, Moorhead, Minn., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Mark and Cheryl McPherson, Jamestown, and Keith and Sheila Hanson, Moorhead.
Miranda is a 2003 graduate of Jamestown High School, Jamestown, a 2004 graduate of Salon Professional Academy, Fargo, N.D., and a 2009 graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, Moorhead, with a bachelor's degree in marketing. She is a participant services specialist at Discovery Benefits, Fargo.
Levi is a 2002 graduate of Moorhead High School, Moorhead, and a 2010 graduate of North Dakota State University, Fargo, with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
An Oct. 8 wedding is planned at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Moorhead, with the reception and dance to follow at Courtyard by Marriott, Moorhead.
