OXBOW, N.D. (AP) -- A 93-year-old Minnesota woman has died in a one-vehicle rollover crash in eastern North Dakota.
The Highway Patrol said Ida Skalka of Akeley, Minn., was a passenger in a sport-utility vehicle that had a rear tire blow out on Interstate 29 north of Oxbow about 11 p.m. Wednesday.
The driver, Skalka's son-in-law, lost control and the vehicle skidded, entered the ditch and rolled.
Skalka, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the SUV and died at the scene.
The patrol said Skalka, her daughter and son-in-law were traveling home from Nebraska when the crash occurred.
