RICHARDTON, N.D. (AP) -- A North Dakota man has been arrested after an accident that killed a motorcycle rider.
The Highway Patrol says the accident happened near Richardton in southwest North Dakota Saturday morning around 6 a.m.
The patrol says 41-year-old Clinton Neidhardt was driving south and failed to stop at a stop sign where the road met Highway 10.
When Neidhardt's Ford Taurus entered the intersection, 45-year-old Timothy White could not stop before his motorcycle struck the Ford. White, who is from Hebron, died at the scene.
Neidhardt was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
