One injured in crash near Linton

A car-semi truck crash injured one a driver on Monday in Emmons County, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred about 2 miles east of Linton at 12:35 p.m. when a westbound 2013 Honda Insight driven by Anthony Mulske, 29, Linton, crossed the center line of N.D. Highway 13 and sideswiped an eastbound 1991 Kenworth semi hauling a Trail King belly-dump trailer, the patrol said.

The Honda went into the ditch. Mulske was transported by Sanford AirMed to Sanford Health in Bismarck.

The patrol did not state if Mulske was wearing a seat belt. An airbag was deployed.

The semi driver, Barry Schulz, 56, New Salem, N.D., was wearing a seat belt and was not injured, the patrol said.

The patrol is investigating the crash.

Emmons County ALS Ambulance and Emmons County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene.
