One person was injured in a rollover accident near Valley City Sunday, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at 8:35 p.m. about 4 miles east of Valley City on I-94.
Steven Eversole Jr., Mandan, was ejected from his 2002 Ford F350 pickup when he failed to maintain his lane while exiting the interstate highway. Eversole lost control of the pickup, which entered the south ditch and rolled, the patrol said. Eversole was ejected and pinned under the pickup. An area farmer saw the accident and lifted the vehicle with a large loader, freeing Eversole, who was transported by air ambulance to a Fargo hospital.
A driving under the influence charge is pending, the patrol said.
