Stutsman County has five new cases of coronavirus, according to information released Sunday, Oct. 4, from the North Dakota Department of Health.
The North Dakota Department of Health also reported the state had three deaths related to COVID-19, two men in their 60s from Morton and Williams counties, and a woman in her 90s from Stark County. All had underlying health conditions, the health department said. There have been 274 deaths in the state related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
Other counties in the Jamestown region reporting cases were LaMoure, seven; Barnes, five; Foster, McIntosh and Wells, three each; and Eddy, Griggs, Logan, one each.
The state reported a total of 416 new COVID-19 cases Sunday. The state has had a total of 23,550 cases since the pandemic began with 19,497 people recovered.
