Stutsman County has nine new cases of coronavirus, according to information released Thursday, Oct. 8, from the North Dakota Department of Health. There are currently 59 active cases of COVID-19 in Stutsman County.
The North Dakota Department of Health also reported the state had six deaths related to COVID-19: a woman in her 80s from Burleigh County, a woman in her 80s from Stark County, a female age 10-19 from Mountrail County, and three people from Ward County, a man in his 50s, a man in his 80s and a woman in her 90s. All of the individuals had underlying health conditions, the health department said. There have been 310 deaths in the state related to COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
Other counties in the Jamestown region reporting cases were Barnes, two; Dickey, Eddy, Kidder and McIntosh, one each; LaMoure, three; Logan, eight; and Wells, two.
The state has had a total of 25,384 cases since the pandemic began with 21,242 people recovered.
