There is a bit of open water on the south end of the Jamestown Reservoir.
At the southern end of the Jamestown Reservoir Island, the ice hasn't formed all the way and left a big section of open water.
Canadian geese and other waterfowl have taken up residence around the open water. Seasonably warm temperatures and a steady wind worked together to keep this open water area available to the waterfowl through Monday afternoon.
