DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) -- A head-on collision involving a truck and a Suburban towing a boat killed a 54-year-old Devils Lake man and shut down traffic on state Highway 19 west of the city for a time.
The Highway Patrol says the crash about 6:50 a.m. Wednesday happened near the Six Mile Bay Bridge. The man who was killed was a passenger in the Suburban. He was not immediately identified.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured and taken to a Devils Lake hospital. The patrol says the truck driver was then flown to a Fargo hospital.
