One person is dead after a rollover accident in McIntosh County Thursday, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The accident occured on N.D. Highway 11 about 20 miles west of Ashley at 12:48 p.m.
A 2006 Chevy Impala was traveling west when the driver, a 28-year-old Mandan man, lost control on a curve where fresh chip seal had been applied. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled, ejecting a 23-year-old Mandan woman who died at Ashley Medical Center.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck with serious injuries.
The accident remains under investigation. Names of the victims will be released pending notification of families, the patrol said.
