Minot man dies in north-central North Dakota crash

OBERON, N.D. — A 30-year-old Minot man is dead following a single-car crash early Saturday morning, June 1, in northeast North Dakota, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said in a press release.

The man, whose name has not been released, was driving a 2004 Ford F250 westbound on North Dakota Highway 57 near Oberon just after midnight Saturday.

At the T-intersection with U.S. Highway 281, the vehicle continued straight through the intersection and off the roadway. It then struck a piece of road construction equipment, the release said.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
