FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- Fargo police are investigating the third armed robbery of a business in the Fargo-Moorhead area in the past week.
Lt. Joel Vettel says a male with a shotgun entered the Cash Wise Video store in south Fargo shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday and demanded money from the two employees at the front counter. He says the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Forum reports that three males with two guns robbed the Super 8 Motel in neighboring Moorhead, Minn., on Monday night, and a lone male with a pistol held up the Cenex Zip Trip store in south Fargo during morning rush hour on Oct. 7.
Vettel says it isn't known yet if the robberies are connected.
