A 40-year-old Ohio man died Friday after the Jeep he was driving rear-ended an International farm truck, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.
The accident happened at about 3 p.m. in the westbound lane of Interstate 94 near the N.D. Highway 1 exit near Valley City.
The patrol said Brian Beck, Gahanna, Ohio, rear-ended a 1974 International three-axle farm truck driven by Ronald F. Winkler, 76, Oriska, N.D. The Jeep then rolled, coming to rest on its passenger side.
Beck was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
Winkler, who was also wearing a seat belt, was not injured.

Responding to the accident in addition to the patrol were the Barnes County Sheriff's Office, Valley City Fire Department and Barnes County Ambulance.
The 2000 Jeep Wrangler was totaled. The truck sustained about $500 in damage, the patrol said.
