BISMARCK (AP) -- The North Dakota attorney general's office is asking for help in solving a cold case.
Officials say 38-year-old Donna Michalenko of rural McLean County disappeared 41 years ago, on Nov. 9, 1968. Her three children are still looking for answers.
The attorney general's office said Michalenko was last seen with a male friend in a bar in Kief, where they stayed until midnight. The man said he dropped Michalenko off outside the house in Butte, where her ex-husband and children lived.
Authorities said she had left town in the past for extended periods of time so her family did not realize right away that she was missing.
The state Bureau of Criminal Investigation is asking people to call the bureau if they have information.
