Marjorie Bender and Justin Greer, both Jamestown, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Allen Bender, Jamestown, and the late Mary Bender, and Ralph Greer and Rita Greer, both Marion, N.D.
Bender is a 1990 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 2005 graduate of Bismarck (N.D.) Police Academy for co-training. She is employed as a correctional officer at the Stutsman County Correctional Center, Jamestown
Greer is a 1991 graduate of Marion High School and a 1995 graduate of Northwest Technical College, Bemidji, Minn., in construction electricity. He is employed by Richardson Electric, James-town.
An Aug. 11 wedding is planned at St. Paul's Methodist Church, James-town.
