MANDAN, N.D. (AP) -- Morton County authorities are investigating the discovery of a body in the Heart River south of Mandan.
Morton County Sheriff's Capt. Lynn Woodall said the corpse was found late Sunday afternoon. Woodall said an autopsy was being performed to determine what caused the person's death.
Woodall said authorities on Tuesday did not know the person's age or sex, or whether he or she was a victim of foul play.
