BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- A judge has set a $5,000 bond for a North Dakota woman charged with attempting to kill her husband by mixing prescription drugs with his enchiladas.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that 68-year-old Judith Tosseth was told during a hearing Thursday at Burleigh County Courthouse the bond stipulates she cannot live with her husband and must participate in a partial hospitalization program.

Tosseth, of Steele, had been admitted to the St. Alexius Medical Center late last month for an undisclosed reason.

Authorities claim she told hospital staff that she tried to kill her 69-year-old husband by mixing the sleep aid Ambien and a blood pressure medication into his food.

Russell Tosseth initially complained of not feeling well but has since recovered.
