Tate Kick of Dickinson scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Class A to a come-from-behind win over Class B in the opening game of the Lions All-Star basketball series on Tuesday night in Bismarck.
Jordan Wilhelm of Bismarck added 15 points for the Class A all-stars, who outscored Class B 40-30 in the second half to erase a four-point halftime deficit. Justin Belohlavek of Mandan added 14 points and John Kramer of Wahpeton had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Jamestown High School's Luke Heck, a Jamestown College recruit, scored three points for Class A.
JC recruit Luke Lorenz of Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg led Class B with 16 points and nine rebounds.
Nathaniel Packineau of Parshall had 15. Steele-Dawson's Mark Bakkum had five points for Class B.

In the girls' game, Class A posted a 68-57 victory.
Andrea LaFrance of Bismarck Century scored 11 points to lead the way. LaFrance's Patriots teammate Courtney Fettig added 10, and Mandan's Jessica Kielpinski had 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Class A shot 43 percent (26-for-60) from the field, while Class B hit only 29 percent (18-for-62).
Teryl Norton of New Salem and Kayla Schmidt of Sherwood each scored 10 for Class B. Abby Bratlien of Tioga grabbed seven rebounds and scored nine points.
Kristen Cuypers of Litchville-Marion-Montpelier scored five. Jamestown College recruit Whitney Eckroth of Steele-Dawson scored seven and Stanley's Courtney Egge, another JC recruit, added two.
