Cisco Cole has been named as Jamestown College's new wrestling coach.

Cole was most recently an assistant at St. Cloud State (Minn.) and was an assistant for Dana College (Neb.) in 2005 when the school claimed a national title and scored the most points ever at a national wrestling tournament. He has also worked as the head assistant coach at Southwest Oregon. He wrestled in college for Southern Oregon and Southwest Oregon Community College.

He replaces Jason McCloud, who resigned in June.

Hailing from Roseburg, Ore., Cole is working on a master's degree in history from St. Cloud State. He holds a bachelor's degree from Dana.

Cole, who will also serve as a sports information director, and his wife, Sarah, have four children.
