The Stutsman County Road Department began recycling Old Highway 10 on Tuesday morning.
Plans are for work to be done in 1- to 2-mile segments with the road remaining open during evening and nighttime hours. Intersections will remain open where possible to allow for cross-traffic. The first two mile segment will be the 1 mile of 34th Street Southeast between 87th Avenue Southeast (north of Cavendish Farms) to 88th Avenue Southeast and the 1 mile of 88th Avenue Southeast between 34th and 33rd streets southeast.
"Road Closed" signs will be posted but no "Detour" signs will be placed. It is recommended that traffic use Interstate from Jamestown to Spiritwood. Third Street Southeast past Cavendish Farms will be open only to local traffic.
