FARGO (AP) -- A North Dakota couple has pleaded guilty in federal court to growing marijuana outside of Jamestown.
Authorities say they seized 515 pot plants belonging to 32-year-old Irene Daniel and 34-year-old Richard Daniel. They were arrested in April.
The Daniels pleaded guilty to one felony count of manufacturing a controlled substance. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison and a minimum mandatory term of five years.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 26.
