FARGO (AP) -- Three people in wheelchairs were taken to a Fargo hospital after they were hit by a vehicle driven by a person police believe was drunk.
Two of the people were treated for bumps and bruises late Monday and released. The third was admitted with unspecified injuries.
Police Sgt. Mike Erbes said only one of the three uses a wheelchair. The other two were helping that person take home a spare wheelchair.
Erbes said the wheelchairs were in the driving lane of a street. The wheelchairs' owner was wearing a traffic vest and had a flashing light on his wheelchair.
