Sex offender changes address
A registered sex offender has changed his address in the city, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Michael Philip Kruk, 30, lives at 111 2nd St. NE No. 101, the Gladstone Inn & Suites, room 101. Kruk drives a black 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe, North Dakota license 060BCE.
He is described as a white male, 6 feet 1 inches tall, weighing 350 pounds with brown eyes and red hair.
Kruk has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee, Office of the Attorney General. He was convicted in 2003 in McHenry County Juvenile Court in North Dakota of gross sexual imposition involving two boys ages 4 and 6. Authorities said he had sexual contact with the children.
He was convicted of gross sexual imposition in 2005 in Bottineau County Juvenile Court in North Dakota. Authorities said while he was in a treatment center for the McHenry County offense, it was discovered that Kruk had forced a 10-year-old boy to have sexual contact in West Fargo and also had sexual contact with a 13-year-old child at the residential treatment center.
Kruk is not wanted by law enforcement.
