The Jamestown Police Department announced a convicted high-risk sex offender has moved to Jamestown.
Jesse Gene White, 44, lives at 1530 6th Ave. SW No. 31, the Buffalo Motel, room 31. He drives a brown 1984 Mercury Grand Marquis, North Dakota license 238BVU.
White has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.
White was convicted in 2016 and 2019 of possession of material - sex conduct by minor. In the 2019 case, authorities said White uploaded an image from the internet showing a nude girl. In the 2016 case, White had numerous pornographic images of minor children on his electronic devices.
White is currently on GPS monitoring. He is not wanted by law enforcement and is on probation with North Dakota Parole and Probation. Attempts to harass offenders, their landlords or employers will be turned over for prosecution, police said.
