The Jamestown Police Department has announced that a convicted high-risk sex offender has moved to Jamestown.
Robert Michael Williamson, 32, lives at 1009 12th Ave. SE #24, the Norway Inn, room 24. He drives a white 2008 Chevrolet Blazer.
Williamson has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.
Williamson was convicted in 2018 in Burleigh County District Court of luring by computer and gross sexual imposition. Authorities said Williamson had sexual contact with a 16-year-old girl in the luring by computer case and sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl in the gross sexual imposition case.
Williamson is on GPS monitoring and is on probation with North Dakota Parole and Probation. He is not wanted by law enforcement.
