Curbside recycling is scheduled to start July 1 in Jamestown, and the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce City Beautification Committee and Renaissance Recycling will hold several informational meetings during the next few months to help educate the public about the recycling process and what can be recycled.

Meetings will be held according to the following schedule:

May 3: 9 a.m. at City Hall May 8: 6:30 p.m. at Alfred Dickey Library

May 15: 7 p.m. at City Hall

May 26: noon at City Hall June 3: 1 p.m. at City Hall June 5: 1 p.m. at the James River Senior Center June 8: 7 p.m. at City Hall June 12: 5 p.m. at James River Senior Center
