Devils Lake man injured in truck accident

A Devils Lake man was injured when the truck he was driving blew a tire and rolled, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The accident occurred at 10:15 this morning.

A Devils Lake man was injured when the truck he was driving blew a tire and rolled, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The accident occurred at 10:15 this morning.

Charles Senger, 56, was driving a 1992 Ford truck loaded with sand westbound on U.S. Highway 2, 2 miles east of Devils Lake when the accident happened. The truck entered the median when the driver's side front tire blew. Senger attempted to bring the truck back onto the highway. The truck rolled depositing sand on the roadway and median.

Senger was transported by a private party to Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake.
