DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) -- A former Dickinson city worker accused of stealing almost $7,000 has accepted a plea agreement with prosecutors that calls for three years of probation and restitution.
Chandra Christensen of Killdeer was charged with felony theft after officials discovered that about $6,800 in cash and checks was missing. Christensen had worked in Dickinson's utility billing department. She was fired in late January.
Defense attorney Kelly Armstrong says Christensen has paid back about $4,800, but how much she actually owes still has to be resolved.
Christensen declined comment.
