BISMARCK (AP) -- A dismissal hearing for Dickinson State University President Richard McCallum has been moved to Bismarck.
McCallum asked for the hearing to make his case on why he doesn't deserve to be fired.
An audit report said McCallum had a key role in inflating Dickinson State's enrollment numbers in the fall of 2010.
The Board of Higher Education is attempting to fire McCallum, but he has the right to challenge his dismissal.
The hearing was originally scheduled for Dickinson. A university system spokeswoman says Tuesday that McCallum's hearing will be held Oct. 19 in Bismarck.
