BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- Oilman Harold Hamm, whose company is a major player in North Dakota's oil patch, is one of the headliners at this week's Great Plains Energy Expo.
The event, organized by Sen. Byron Dorgan, runs through Tuesday at the Bismarck Civic Center.
Federal Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer also are scheduled to attend.
Hamm is the chairman and chief executive officer of Continental Resources Inc., an independent oil and gas company based in Enid, Okla. He has been in North Dakota's oil patch for 20 years.
